Prep Dahl had a wonderful time during Book Week. This Term we have really grown our writing skills.

5/6E

We have been working on creating information reports that detail the following:

• Reasons the British wanted to colonise Australia.
• Hardships in setting up the Sydney Cove colony.
• The impact that colonisation had on convicts and the Australian Aboriginal people.

This task tied in nicely with our trip to Beaconsfield Gold Mine as the tour guide spoke about the timeline in which colonies in Tasmania were established.
