Term 3 Staffing Update
We look forward to Principal Karen Hampton returning from her study trip to the United States, and thank Rachel Brown for her work in the Norwood community over the past term. We wish her well in her new appointment to Ravenswood Heights Primary for the remainder of the year.
Mr Rae will return to us (and his class) in week 2 of term 3 with Ms Bannon continuing to work with 5-6R until then. When he returns Ms Bannon will have a few weeks filling the role of Mrs Terry while she is on leave. Melinda Williams of Kinder land will be on deserved long service leave for the first half of the term and we hope to confirm her replacement tomorrow.
Mrs Guy continues on her extended leave but rest assured she misses us and will not leave without saying goodbye.
In any big organisation, with a large number of staff, change and illness and changing circumstances are a human factor that we must resiliently manage. Opportunities arise and growth occurs. All staff and families are wished a restful break with a hope that they return ready for locking onto learning in third term.
There are no expected changes to staffing of classrooms from the current status, and we thank parents families and children for their support around the reporting and parent teacher gatherings.
