PICKUP ZONE

In order to ensure that our pickup zone functions smoothly it is important that all drivers using this area follow the same process.

  1. You must be in your car with it running.
  2. All children are to enter cars from the top pick up space not the school drive way. Generally children with not be allowed to go to the end of the line of cars as this causes a delay with cars being backup on the road waiting to enter the pick up zone.
  3. Please ensure that cars are moving up as spaces occur, even if you are waiting to pull out.

Thank you for your co-operation with this as it's important that this runs smoothly to manintain the safety of students.

REAL SCHOOLS

Our partnership with Real Schools has enabled our school to develop understanding of the importance of language and the use of affective statements in the classroom and playground.

In this short video Jemma Rust, our expert facilitator will share with us what affective statements are and how they can support families at school and at home. Using a “feelings” word in a statement can have a positive impact on encouraging your child to cooperate rather than asking them to comply..
