From the Principal
Dear NPS Families
This Friday, Primary Progress Reports (PPR) will be sent home for students Prep-6. Kindergarten 'Evidence of Learning' for Term 1 will be sent home early next week. The purpose of these short reports is to give an overall summary of how your children have settled into the new school year.
Although the markers are the same across all year levels, teachers mark these in alignment to students' age appropriate behaviours.

SCHOOL UNIFORM
See below for our current NPS Uniform Policy which has been agreed upon by our NPS School Association.
Recently, we have noticed a steady decline in adherence to this policy. As a school we pride ourselves, and have been complemented on the presentation of our students in relation to the style and adherence of our uniform.
The guidelines within the policy are set out for a number of reasons, including safety and consistency across students to avoid peer pressure.
A few areas that we need to work on are....
Jewellery should be kept to a minimum as long necklaces, dangling earrings etc can be unsafe during physical activities.
Fingernails should be kept trimmed to eliminate the risk of other student being scratched.
Hair and make- up also need to adhere to the policy.
Thank you in advance for helping support students with uniform consistency across the school.
Kind regards,
Karen Monaghan | Principal
