Being part of the committee gives you an opportunity to vote on some important decisions with the ongoing improvements that greatly support the school.  If you are interested in the remaining committee member position, please contact the school office for details.

NAPLAN

NAPLAN for years 3 & 5 is well underway with students participating well.
We work hard in the school environment to make the two weeks of NAPLAN testing as close to normal school life as possible. In order for students to do their best during each assessment, it is important that they are able to undertake them in a calm and focused manner. At school this means that we don't put any undue pressure on students and we talk positively about just doing their best.
Please be aware that NAPLAN is just one of the many assessments we use to guide student achievement and their academic growth. At home, it is best that each testing day is treated just as another school day to avoid adding to any worries about this.
Please let us know if your child is experiencing any high levels of worry about undertaking the tests.

Kind regards,

Karen Monaghan | Principal
