In 5-6 Faulkner / Spencer we have been exploring the following learning intention: As writers, how can we use persuasive devices to convince our readers?

We used the mentor text of Greta Thunberg's 2019 UN Climate Action Summit speech. We needed to become reading detectives to unpack all the persuasive language and devices this text used, and then apply it to our own learning. Here are some examples throughout our learning journey of persuasive texts!
