Anzac Day

Anzac Day 2024 will fall during the second week of the school holidays.

Norwood Primary School will have representation at the march and the Launceston Cenotaph and will be laying a wreath on behalf of the school.

Timings for the ANZAC Day service are as follows:

March form up commences at 9:45am.

• March commences at 10:15am
• Civic Service begins at approx. 10:30am – 10:45am
• Service should be completed by 11:30am

All NPS students and families are welcome to attend the community service.

If students are going to be present and want to be part of the Norwood Primary School group, can you please notify the office.

The Launceston RSL encourages those students that have Service Medals or replicas, of their Veteran relatives, to wear them on ANZAC Day. These medals must be worn on the right breast.
