Excursion

Grades 5-6 A, 5-6 B, 5-6 C, 5-6 D & 5-6 E

Our classes will be travelling by bus to the Richmond Village Green. From there, we will be exploring three locations that support the work we have been doing throughout our History inquiry, regarding the colonisation of Australia. We will be visiting the Richmond Gaol, the Richmond Bridge and Old Hobart Town (a miniature replica of Hobart in the 1820’s.)

Date:      Wednesday 7th June

Time:      Depart school at 7:00am and return at approx. 4:45pm

Recess/Lunch: Students will need to bring a packed fruit break, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a large drink of water.

Clothing: Students will need to wear their uniform and bring a jumper and coat in case of inclement weather.
