NPS Cross Country

The Kinder – Grade 6 Cross Country carnivals were held recently at NPS. It was great to have so many parents and spectators supporting our eager young runners. Participation and house spirit was excellent from students throughout the day, ending in some excellent efforts and close races.

In terms of our house competition, it was a close event between our 3 houses during the day. Waratah house managed to make it 2 from 2 in sporting carnivals this year adding the Cross Country Carnival to their Athletics Carnival win in Term 1.

LSSSA Cross Country

Based on some excellent performances in PE and our Cross Country carnival, the following students have been selected to represent Norwood at the LSSSA Cross Country carnival this Friday. This event is being held at the Windsor Community Precinct in Riverside. Norwood is in Division A this year and will be running between 9.30 and 11.30am.

Students are required to wear their sports uniform, bring a large drink bottle and their jumper. A spare pair of shoes and socks may also be a good idea.
