Norwood Winter Festival
The Inaugural Norwood Winter Festival is only four weeks away and promises to be a very special night with food, entertainment, beer and wine, and 30 Makers Market stalls. The event will provide much needed funding to assist the school with proposed renovations to the Kindergarten/Prep Play Area whilst bringing the community together to share in our wonderful school, in what will be a very enjoyable night.
I urge everyone to hop on Facebook and check out all the attractions that we have coming. There’s something new to read every night so pop the date Friday June 21st in your diaries.

Election Day BBQ
Firstly a huge Thank You to businesses who donated to us - Cripps Nubake, Pure Food Eggs, SRT Logistics and especially to the all those families who donated cans of cordial for our Election Day BBQ.
The School Association would like to say a really big thankyou to all our volunteers on the day including all the Grade Six students who helped, Sarah & Scott Merritt, Chantal Innes, Savanna Moore, Angela Hawley, Scott Driessen, Kirsty Crawford, Jo Leslie, Fiona Baker, Fiona Ricketts, Sally O’Donnell, Ben Cunningham, Nicole Moir & Rachel Brown along with Scott Morrison. You all made this day such a success, yes I did say Scott Morrison not a well-kept secret but he did turn a sausage or two so he gets a thanks as well, it’s only fair!
We raised over $1100.00 in BBQ sales along with over $350.00 in the Wood Raffle but more importantly we did our school really proud. The Grade 6 students walked the election line selling tickets and handing out flyers for the Winter Festival and a fun day was had by all.
