Investigating Forces
On Friday the 20th May grade 3/4 s went to the hall in the afternoon for a science provocation about forces. The question we were all given was ‘How do we make things move?’. There was a range of activities set up for us to explore this question. The stations were tyres, ropes, toy trains, toy cars, mini trampolines, colourful balloons and spinning things.
We moved around the rotations in small groups. Each person had a sheet to write on and investigate what they found out and what wonderings they had.
It was an awesome experience, and we can’t wait to find out more about forces.
