NPS Cross Country

We held our Prep – Grade 6 Cross Country carnival last Friday at school. It was great to have so many parents and spectators back at a school sporting event supporting our eager young runners. Participation and house spirit was excellent from students throughout the day, ending in some great efforts and close races.

In terms of our house competition, it was a close event between our 3 houses during the day. Waratah house had a slim lead after the Grade 3/4 carnival however Banksia roared back in the 5/6 carnival in the afternoon to take out the overall winner by 5 points. Waratah and Banksia are now in a tie for the lead in our year-long House Competition.

The Kinder students will be having their event on Thursday afternoon at school.
