Welcome back to term 2!  It was great to see so many smiling, eager faces this week.

We have already launched into some learning about autumn. If you have evergreen and deciduous trees at your house please do some investigating to follow up our work at school. We are also exploring repeating patterns in our maths program. I have asked the children to keep an eye out for repeating patterns at home. If they find a simple pattern eg. blue stripe, red stripe, blue stripe, red stripe, it would be appreciated if they could bring it along for sharing.

Just a note to let you know that the children will need to have a coat and beanie in their bags as the weather cools off. We will still be going outside for gross motor activities.

Reminder that library day is still on a Thursday. Keep up the great reading and return of books on a weekly basis.

Excursion news very soon – PCYC and City Park.  Parent help will need Working with Vulnerable People Cards.

Parent help at other times is now welcome – just see me to arrange a mutually convenient time.
